Ancient Myths & Modern Metaphors Art Show – William Pitcher

“At the heart of this work is a playful, supple imagination that can stretch from the complexity of ancient thought to the modern mundane, all the while creating significant meaning on how we live our lives today. To stand in the middle of the gallery surrounded by these vibrant, bold images is a treat. Never was the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words” ever more relevant than to describe Bill’s glorious photo-canvasses.” – Bill Usher

September 17 Fjellgaard & Friends, presented by

On Top Productions

The consummate entertainer, Gary Fjellgaard’s rich, timbered voice, sculpted by caragana winds and sanded smooth by the salty breezes at his home somewhere on the island, left no doubt that we were right about this appealing performer all along. His room-filling, practically orchestral guitar style, optimistic and often soulful lyrics, combined with his respect for his art and his audience left no doubt we were in the presence of a master craftsman — and a witty one at that.
