Mountain Mosaic Festival of Arts Canada Day Celebration
Dates: Saturday June 30th and Sunday July 1st, 2007
Location: Pynelogs Cultural Centre and Kinsmen Beach
Times: Saturday June 30th, 2:30 to 5:00pm at Pynelogs, Cinema Circus Children’s Film Festival. Sunday July 1st, 11:30am to 4:30pm, Mountain Mosaic Festival of the Arts Canada Day Celebrations

The Columbia Valley Arts Council (CV Arts), the Invermere Business Committee (IBC) and the Windermere Valley Early Childhood Development (WV ECD) have joined forces and will be presenting Mountain Mosaic Festival of the Arts Canada Day Celebrations 2007. This event will include:

Tuesday July 1st

Following the main street Canada Day Parade (10AM start time):

Canada Day Celebrations

• Including visiting dignitaries,
• Serving the Canada Day Birthday Cake
  

Canada Day Stage entertainment

• Performances by the talented individuals of the Kootenay Baton Konnection, followed by an afternoon filled with music by “The Surf Dragons”. The entertainment was coordinated in cooperation with Panorama Mountain Village.

Children’s Festival includes:

• Festival Stage – featuring “Shine” Youth Singers from Calgary, the ever popular Belly Dancers and Caroline Spence with Crimson Star.
• Bounce castles, tattoos, face painting, punk hairdos, arts & crafts, creativedance, rhythm band, story telling, and balloons.
• International Food Fair and Farmers Market.
• An array of food kiosks & refreshments.
